You can enjoy one of our delicious pizzas almost every day of the week at the Market at Giardini. Our great wood fired oven will be fired up every Tuesday through Saturday in order to offer you your very own delicious rustic pizza for lunch or for dinner.

You can order your pizza to take home, or you can take it out under the holly tree in the garden. Wherever you eat it, you'll find out why authentic wood fired Italian pizza with fresh ingredients is an experience that is unequaled!

Some Wood Fired Facts

Wood fired pizzas bake three ways...all at the same time. They use reflected heat, convection and conductive heat to bake the perfect pizza in about 90 seconds. These 3 components work together in perfect harmony so the crust, the cheese, the sauce, toppings and olive oil are all perfectly cooked at the same time.

Modern convection ovens use fans and heat coils to move hot, dry air. Nothing can compare to the moist cooking environment of the natural convection in a wood fired oven. The hot cooking floor (at over 800 degrees) extracts moisture from the dough to create steam that literally lifts the pizza in the air - off the cooking floor. The hot surface and the steam gives our wood fired pizza its unique, crisp crust and moist, delicate crumb. Try as you might-there's just NO sustitute for a real brick oven pizza!
