(you've heard of Mary & Joseph, right?)
We have been living here in beautiful Polk Co. since 2003. As the former owners of a busy restaurant
on Hilton Head Island, we thought we were coming to the mountains to "retire" again. But once we designed
and built our home with green building techniques, and settled into our new
life, we not only found that we missed the food business, but that we wanted to expand upon our desire to live a more sustainable
and environmentally conscious life. We're so blessed to have found this wonderful organic farm property that lent itself
so beautifully to creating a restaurant in the farmhouse. And so now we are melding all of our former life experiences in
business management & marketing, restaurant management, organic gardening, and sustainable living into one big happy package.
Our days are spent creating new ideas with fun and food, fields that are vibrant and growing with fresh produce, herbs and
flowers, along with a talented staff who produces fresh delicious food for us, our friends and our community. Que bella!
